While I was in school I had a hard time getting into very many TV shows since I really didn’t have time to watch TV. Now that I have a little bit more time on my hands I have gotten sucked into a few too many shows. But the good news is that this week most of them have their season premier! In preparation for this week Lance and I took some time to look up the fall schedules for our favorite shows and set them up to record on our DVR (in case we miss one or watch them on a lazy Sunday). Wow.. we are losers, but I’m perfectly okay with that :)
So I plan to sit back and enjoy some berry lemonade and watch Glee and NCIS tonight. Did I mention that I am excited?!?? Well I am! We already watched a few yesterday and we have a few more on the calendar for later this week. Most of all season 5 of Dexter starts on Sunday!! SO excited!
Okay, okay enough about T.V. and let’s get to this lemonade recipe. I used a bag of frozen mixed berries, but you could certainly pick your favorite berry and use only that one. There are many possibilities!
Triple Berry Lemonade
Ingredients:
1 – 12 oz can of frozen lemonade concentrate, thawed
1 bag – 5 oz frozen berries, thawed and undrained
16 oz ginger ale
Directions:
In a 4-quart container stir together lemonade concentrate and 4 cans of water until well mixed. Stir in berries. Just before serving pour in ginger ale. Serve over ice and garnish with a lemon wedge.
Makes 16 servings
