Crystals Bachelorette Party Fun!

A couple of weeks ago we celebrated my friend Crystals last night out – or shall I say weekend out, before she ties the knot in about a week (!!)

We decided to do a little staycation in Scottsdale – which landed us at the Fire Sky Resort

The Maid of Honor Hillary and I arrived early to check in and decorate the room

We also made some t-shirts for us girls to wear during our Friday night in – They were of course covered in glitter :)

We set up our fabulous bar area – and we had a Champagne toast ready for when Crystal arrived!

And of course we came prepared with Sprinkles cupcakes (it was actually my very first Sprinkles cupcake!) and tons of other snacks to get us though the weekend!

On Friday night we decided to order in and had Silver Mine Subs delivered – We coerced the delivery guy into taking our photo in the hallway ;)

We spent the night laughing and playing some fun games! Crystal also gave us girls a bridesmaid gift – some cute tote bags with our names embroidered on them :) and a pair of Ray-Ban style sunglasses

All I can think about when I see this picture is this song – it was stuck in my head the whole weekend!

We slept in then spent a lovely Saturday afternoon by the pool – one of them had actual sand, it was pretty sweet! Photo courtesy of Crystal :)

Then we all got ready for our big night out! I did everyone's hair – and if you ask me, I think they all look pretty darn good! hehe

crys12

I shook up a few cocktails for the girls before we headed out for dinner – with some delicious whipped cream vodka!

We had dinner reservation at Grand Lux Café in Scottsdale – it is owned by the same people as the Cheesecake Factory and it has that same cheesecake factory feel. There is also a Grand Lux Café in Vegas – at the Venetian I believe

We all ended up ordering pasta, Crystal and I got the Pasta Telephono – which was cheesy and delicious. But what's more important is that I also had the best mojito of my life – I should have had two! I love finding a place that can make a good mojito :)

Luckily the resort had a free shuttle service to any place within 3 miles of the resort – so we went back to the room for a bit after dinner before hitting the town. Crystal opened her gifts:

Then we just hung out for a bit :)

And did some Peppermint Pattie shots – A drizzle of Hershey's syrup followed by a shot of peppermint schnapps. It tastes just like a york peppermint pattie :)

crys24

I was the designated chocolate syrup pourer for the night

After that we hit the town for some dancing! And of course some singing ;) There was an awesome 80’s cover band playing at the last place we went – Crystal and I had a fantastic time! I was both exhausted and sweaty when we left – I’m going to guess that’s because I jumped up and down non-stop and was singing at the top of my lungs haha

And that about wraps up the night! I had an awesome time celebrating Crystal’s last hurrah before she gets hitched! I can’t wait for the wedding next week!

  1. How is whipped cream flavored vodka?!? I've seen it and always wondered about it!

  2. Hi Ali, Thanks for stopping by!

It was actually pretty yummy. We mixed it with some OJ or a berry juice and it made them taste creamy (kind of like creamsicles!)
