Happy New Year!
These mashups by DJ Earworm have been part of my favorite New Years tradition since 2008 (I’m sure one look at my itunes would tell you that I love his mashups haha) – I can’t think of a better way to think back on 2011 than by hearing all of the years music smashed together into a 5 minute song :)
2011 has been a really great year for me – I not only ran my first 5k, but also my first half marathon and have continued to pursue my passion for racing. Traveled a little (Vegas, Utah, Florida – Disneyworld and Universal Studio’s) but also finally got to on the hiking trip I’ve been dreaming about for years. I got to participate in the wedding of some close friends, which was a blast. And I did some serious entertaining throughout the year – it really is one of my favorite things to do. Now I can’t wait to see what 2012 has in store for me :)
Over the past year some really delicious food has come out of this kitchen of mine and I wanted to make a little list of to recap some of my favorites and some that have been the most popular. I’ve got some good stuff coming up for 2012, and I can only imagine that the list will be harder for me to write next year. Here’s the top 11 in no particular order:
