2011 Holiday Gift Packages

Did everyone have a merry Christmas?!

I am a little sad the weekend is over and it’s back to work for me…but I had a wonderful jam-packed weekend so I don’t mind too much.

On Friday night Lance and I had some free tickets to see Tom Segura and Christina Pazsitzky at Stand Up Live in Phoenix. This was our first time there so we got there pretty early, so we visited Copper Blues, the bar/restaurant next door until we were able to be seated. We got really lucky because they seat all of the people in Copper Blues before they seat the line outside so we ended up with seats at center stage and about 3 seats back. If you go see a show at Stand Up Live, make sure to go inside Copper Blues so you can get the priority seating, its definitely worth it!

On Christmas Eve we met up with some of Lances family from out of town to go ice skating. It was so much fun! I would really like to make ice skating our new Christmas Eve tradition :)

On Christmas morning we had breakfast with Lance’s family and opened gifts, then headed home to start cooking Christmas dinner. My family joined us at our house for a delicious turkey dinner then we opened up some gifts.

Lance carved up the roasted turkey :) and here is a photo of my plate full of the delicious food.

A few friends stopped by later in the evening as well – overall it was a really lovely Christmas. Even Tink enjoyed her gifts :)

This was her Turkey dinner – it was a plate of squeaky toys that looked like food, turkey, a baked potato, corn on the cob, a roll and some greens. It was so cute and she’s been carrying the turkey around since Sunday :)

I wanted to take a quick second and share what I put in my holiday gift packages for our friends and family this year!

I’ve been putting together gift packages like these for a few years now and it is one of my holiday traditions that I truly love doing! I love coming up with a list of goodies to include – some old favorites and of course some new ones too. Needless to say I put a lot of time and prep work into these bad boys, but I love the chance to share all these goodies with everyone!

This year I got my packaging from Hobby Lobby which happened to be on sale also! I like to find cute, but reasonably priced packaging since I give out so many :) These ones did the trick!

Hot Chocolate Mix

Peppermint Marshmallows

Candy Cane Biscotti

Salted Caramels

Oatmeal Cranberry Cinnamon Chip Cookies
